You’re invited to join us for Keller Williams Energy’s Annual RED Day event! RED Day is a special time when we come together to give back to our community and create a positive impact.
This year, we will be doing an exterior clean up at Feed The Need in Durham, who we have partnered with for Turkey Drive over the past few years.
Volunteering activities include:
- Trimming of the tree branches and bushes
- Clean up of garden and light planting, edging grass around gardens
- Cleaning the entrance
- Washing of Windows
The goal of our RED Day is to freshen up the exterior and make it more inviting when members of the community arrive.
$122.50 was fundraised at the last Stakeholders meeting. In addition, we will have a dunk tank type of fundraiser! For this event, Agents can try to soak 3 members of KWEn (Balloons will be $5 for 1 or $30 for 3). We will also be collecting non-perishable food items leading up to Red Day (those in high demand are as follows: Peanut Butter, Pasta & Pasta Sauce, Cereal, Canned Meat and Rice).
Items that we ask you to bring with you on RED Day:
- Work gloves
- Rakes
- A couple of shovels
- Pruning snips
- Window cleaning equipment (soap, bucket, squeegee)
The Social Committee will also provide a few plants for planting.
